Other Information: Anne is currently completing her thesis entitled 'Towards an Aesthetic of Retreat: Neo-Stoicism, Recusant Culture and Gardens in Seventeenth-Century Scotland'. Fluently bilingual (English/French) she has presented her work internationally most recently at the University of Padua, Italy, in July, 2011. She also won the Dean's Scholarship in 2011-12 and the Joseph-Armand Bombardier Canada Graduate Master's Scholarship in 2010-11. Anne is a repeated all-star second base women’s fast-pitch softball player at the Canadian junior and university levels, and she is also a volunteer coach. She also volunteers with Ten Thousand Villages. Anne intends to pursue her interest in Medieval Studies at Oxford.
