Biography
Iain Sander is a medical student at the University of Alberta and a 2017 graduate of Queen's University in Chemical Engineering as a Loran and Chancellor's Scholar. In 2013, Iain spent a summer as a live-in assistant at a L'Arche community home in France and served as head coach of the Special Olympics swim team in Kingston, Ontario for the past two years. Iain intends to conduct research which will enable him to improve range of motion and quality of life for individuals with disabilities. In his spare time, Iain enjoys fishing, downhill skiing, and hazarding his younger brother's culinary experiments.
