Christopher D'Urso

Biography

Christopher J. D'Urso, grew up in Colts Neck, NJ, and is a J.D. candidate at Yale Law School, where he is an Executive Editor of the Yale Law Journal and was a member of the Supreme Court Advocacy Clinic. Prior to beginning law school, Christopher completed his DPhil in Public Policy at Oxford where his research investigated the use of alternatives to extradition in U.S. prosecutions of transnational cybercrime. While at Oxford, he served for two years as the MCR President of St John's College. Christopher previously received a B.A. in International Relations, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, as well as a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Pennsylvania with a perfect grade point average in both programs. As an aspiring federal prosecutor, Christopher has interned for the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Connecticut, and the Public Integrity Section of the U.S. Department of Justice’s Criminal Division in Washington, D.C. He is also a passionate consumer advocate and served as a consumer-fraud investigator for the Monmouth County, NJ Department of Consumer Affairs; founded and led Philadelphia’s first consumer-education organization; and testified before Congress on country-of-origin-labeling laws. Upon graduating law school, Christopher will serve as a law clerk for the Hon. Richard J. Sullivan of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and then for the Hon. Amul R. Thapar of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
