Jordan Gifford-Moore

Biography

Jordan is completing an LLB/LP (Hons) and BA (Politics/American Studies) at Flinders University. His interest in law and international relations led him to study at three Chinese universities, intern at the US House of Representatives and work in international finance law. He appreciates the life-changing value of access to education and therefore volunteered with the Red Cross tutoring English to newly arrived refugees and arranging football games to encourage community networks. He also tutors medical ethics at Flinders University and visits schools to speak about the advantages of tertiary education. His thesis assesses the Australian framework for infrastructure development. In Oxford, he will look at how developing countries can attract infrastructure investment and promote human rights through Public Private Partnerships.
