Oscar Lyons

Biography

Oscar studied medicine and spent a year working in Gisborne before moving to South Auckland as an Education Fellow in Surgery. He is closely involved with the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, and competes in Judo and triathlons. He grew up with 3 brothers and his mother, a musician and teacher who sparked a love for sharing music and knowledge. He taught high school calculus, physics and chemistry before progressing to teaching applied medical science and clinical skills, and he continues to play and perform music. Oscar's goal is to review and develop integrated clinical leadership training at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
