Purpose of the Network
The Rhodes Scholar Network site gives Senior Scholars and Current Scholars an opportunity to connect across generations and countries. It allows you to search for and contact each other based on your backgrounds and interests, collaborate on projects, advertise job openings, and facilitate mentor-mentee relationships. You are able to control how much information is available for other Scholars on the Network to view. We will not make the Network available to any third party to use.
How the Network works
How the Network is used and what it offers depends on you, and it has been built to provide opportunities to reconnect with old classmates, to exchange information on what you and others are doing and to offer advice to younger Scholars. It will also provide a forum for exchanging information on job vacancies or internships, or for providing other Scholars with informal mentoring or support. There will be no charge to members to join or use the Network.
Scholars will have a unique profile comprising of your contact information, details on educational and professional qualifications, work experience and your interests. You will be able to choose the amount of information that you would like to make available for others on the Network to see.
Your profile on the Network
Those who signed up via the original registration survey have a number of field pre-populated on the survey. All users will be able to import their LinkedIn information to quickly and easily complete the profile section.
