Development Committee for the Rhodes Scholarships

The Development Committee for the Rhodes Scholarships advises and assists the Warden with fundraising matters. It is a committee of the Rhodes Trust operating under the Trust's Governance Protocols. The Development Committee is chaired by Mr Donald J. Gogel (New Jersey & Balliol 1971).

The Gift Policy Sub-Committee of the Development Committee advises the Rhodes Trustees and the Warden of Rhodes House on issues related to the sources, structure, and related recognition of major financial contributions or commitments to the Rhodes Trust. Its principal role is to ensure that sources of capital to the campaign, whether individual or institutional, are of high reputation and integrity.
