This weekend sees over 100 Rhodes Scholars and guests visiting Rhodes House, some of whom have not been back to Oxford for over twenty years. Saturday events consisted of three speaker sessions, which were filmed and will be made available on the Rhodes House website in due course.

1) The role of culture, arts and the humanities in Fighting the World's Fight, with Rhodes Trustee, Dame Helen Ghosh DBE, Dr Eric Wear (Arkansas & Brasenose 1985) and Ms Sarah Weir OBE


2) Cyber Security in a Smart World, with Dr Cornelius Namiluko (Zambia & Wolfson 2007)

3) Is the planet full? with Professor Ian Goldin

unch to mark the 50th Anniversary of the coming up of the Rhodes class of 1964, with other anniversary years also being invited to attend.



Sunday saw the very popular annual alumni brunch and open house, and a series of inter-generational Scholar conversations taking place in which career and life experiences are discussed and debated.
