There will be two Rhodes Scholarships in total which will be offered to enable two outstanding students from Israel – chosen on the basis of exceptional intellect, character, leadership and commitment to service – to study at the University of Oxford beginning in October 2017.  The Rhodes Scholarships for Israel were announced on 1 June 2016, and the related news story can be read here.

Selection of the Rhodes Scholarship for Israel is by a selection committee drawn from diverse professional and academic backgrounds, including both Rhodes Scholars and non-Rhodes Scholars.
