Welcome to the information page about the Rhodes Scholarship for Hong Kong. This Scholarship is supported by the Lee Hysan Foundation.

Each year, there is one Scholarship available in Hong Kong to enable an outstanding student - chosen on the basis of exceptional intellect, character, leadership, and commitment to service - to study at the University of Oxford.

Applications

Applications for the Rhodes Scholarships for 2015 for Hong Kong are now closed.

Selection of the Rhodes Scholarship for Hong Kong is by a selection committee drawn from diverse professional and academic backgrounds, including from a number of different universities.

Prospective applicants from Hong Kong should carefully review:
1. the general information about the Rhodes Scholarships,
2. the selection criteria that apply in all Rhodes constituencies, and then
3. the application criteria and procedures specific to Hong Kong (revised 6 June 2014).
