Welcome to the information page about the Rhodes Scholarships for Zambia.
Each year, there are two Scholarships available in Zambia to enable outstanding students - chosen on the basis of exceptional intellect, character, leadership, and commitment to service - to study at the University of Oxford.
Over many decades, Rhodes Scholars from Zambia have pursued a variety of careers in public service, academia, business, law and medicine, amongst others.
Information about Rhodes Scholars elected for Zambia and around the world can be found in biographies of the Rhodes class of 2013, the Rhodes class of 2012 and the Rhodes class of 2011.
Some Scholars from Zambia have been featured as Scholar of the Week on this website, and you can also access video interviews with diverse Rhodes alumni.
Applications
Applications for the Rhodes Scholarships for 2014 for Zambia will open on 1 June. An application link will be added to this page on that date.
